In America’s Heartland

In America’s Heartland

My old pal Holt met a girl named Kristy. It’s an old-fashioned fairy tale, and tomorrow it plays out on the stage of tradition here in a small town in northern Indiana. I am flattered and thrilled that the kids asked me to come here this weekend and photograph their wedding. Kristy grew up here in Michigan City and her family still lives here. Holt comes from a family of cattle people in Texas. The two of them met and are living in Atlanta now. But despite the geographic challenges and $4.00-a-gallon gasoline, many friends and family have gathered to witness their wedding. As have I. I can’t wait!
